Hope

I was excited and motivated for a while; I thought there was hope. Yet, that was just self-delusion I soon realized. And when reality knocks back, I realized how far I am from my goal and a sense of disappointment, sadness and then regret coursed into me. Hope is such a double edged sword. Sometimes, I rather not have any hope at all, for it has always caused me more harm than good. Yet, I still grip on tightly onto my hopes, hoping what I hope for do really come true one day, for that’s the only driving force that kept me going.

Don't worry if you fall short of your goal, because what's more important than achieving your goals is the journey embarked towards them. Don't blame yourself for failing; it is reserved only for not trying.

Sometimes we do feel despaired when we fall short of our goals. All of us have experienced that. So cheer up, and do not falter. Your family and friends are by your side, always. And don't forget the most important thing they can give you...

@Pandy:
Thanks and Yes I know success is not a destination but a journey, but what if you are not even allowed to embark on the journey itself. Then is there any trying to speak of?

Well, did you try to embark on the journey? If yes, then I don't think you should blame yourself.

I always believe you win some, and you lose some in life. Life is so beautiful and full of wonders that any failures cannot rob you of the many other wonderful things! So cheer up, I believe your positive attitude in everything you did will bring you far in the future :D
